Every day millions of people freely give their time, energy and skills to support others. Their acts of kindness create a web of connection and community that benefits both the giver and receiver. It is a kind of magic that spreads and transforms society.

 

Join us for an uplifting conversation with three special volunteers.

 

Radha Allen, is the co-founder and CEO of B3, a peer-led and volunteer-run charity and recovery community helping those who struggle with addiction and those in recovery through support, education, outreach and self-development. With first-hand experience of the challenges surrounding addiction, she is dedicated to empowering members and creating meaningful opportunities. She has a true understanding of the needs of the community and a commitment to making a difference. 

 

 

 

 

Charles Fowler, chairs the Human Values Foundation, which uses positive values to promote young people’s social and emotional development, helps run the UK Values Alliance, is Chair of the Global Alliance for Values-based Education, and a project partner of the Collaborating Centre for Values-based Practice for Health and Social Care at Oxford University. He is also a delegate at the Values20 Group which engages G20 leaders in values-based policy-making, and is the Global Coordinator of World Values Day.

 

 

 

 

Nidhi Shukla is a key member of Inner Space Wembley, a personal development and meditation centre. She is totally committed to serving others in very creative and engaging ways through inspiring talks and out-reach projects, such as the Young Ambassadors of Peace (YAP) programme for primary school children. She also contributes to global initiatives.
